Scene Productions specialises in producing bold, physical theatre.
The company explores new and imaginative ways of examining political contexts and social relationships, using storytelling, audience interaction, mime, puppetry and multimedia. The company devises original work alongside educational workshops and interpretations of classic Brechtian texts.
School Information
In addition to creating original work for theatre touring, Scene Productions also create performances and workshops that are specifically designed to tour schools and assist with A-Level drama teaching. The company receives assistance from AST's and A-Level Examiners who provide advice and direction regarding what students need to see to ensure maximum potential for a high mark.
The Brechtian productions and set text performance/workshops have a tick-a-box approach, ensuring students get to see and practice as many techniques as possible.
